A Swedish brand that has been designing and manufacturing outdoor products ranging from headlamps, compasses, luggage, binoculars and hiking poles for 85 years. In 1933, Swedish brothers Björn, Alvar and Arvid Kjellström invented the first liquid-filled compass. And thus began the story of SILVA outdoor. The compass was not only the first of its kind, but also immediately set the global standard for contemporary navigation. In 1935, the brothers launched their first headlamp - the Sailor - and the SILVA brand saw the light of day.
